I am only a bit Irish but I definitly feel lucky lately!

1. We have been out walking a LOT lately to enjoy the warmer weather.

2. Last nights walk took us to the Library... I picked up my very own new Library Card!

Oh and a bunch of great books on cooking.

3. My Husband cooks me dinner almost every night! How lovely. Tonight he is making Ruebans!

Hopefully it will look something like this....YUM

4. Liberty for London Set on Sunday in Stores and the product I worked on looked AMAZING!

I did pick up a dress and swim suit I worked on

just incase we ever have a little girl.

OH and NO we are not trying to have any babies yet...

but maybe someday she can wear what I designed.

Rick Bought a Tie and Boxers.. I landed on a top and a candle.

It is selling through like hot cakes!  So RUN to your Nearest TARGET.

6. Lastly we had our annual Spring Merchandise Meeting at work yesterday and I was BLOWN away!

There were SO many great surprise guests to see among my favorites was Micheal Buble!

Top Favs from the Oscars

So I know I am no one famous but I thought I would share my favorite dresses from the Oscars.

Cameron Diaz in Oscar de la Renta - I just LOVE the sparkle and glamour of her look.

Rachel McAdams Elie Saab - The movement of this dress was so whimsical

and the water color of the print was so pretty.

Sandra Bullock in Marchesa - I think even thought this was a bit too shimmery

I loved the bodice detailing and the delicate lace like look.

WORST DRESSED IN MY MIND!

  Jennifer Lopez in Giorgio Armani Prive - From where I sat on my comfy couch this dress looked like it was constructed out of bubble wrap.  It was just odd. Sorry J-Lo.

OH SO FUN!!

This weekend the weather was warmer than expected and sunny most of the time! Which was SO nice!

I finally finished the zoo bags for the kids ( my niece and nephew). 

Rick hates the puff paint idea but the bags were Rebecca's idea and I think it makes them more fun!

I also had a wonderfully successful fitting with an adorable little girl. 

Here is the rough draft on the flower girl dress.

It will be SO much better once it is in the correct fabric. 

To end the weekend off we went out for Mexican in Chan.. The little town we live in.

It was the BEST! I never thought anything good could come from Chan!!

My favorite part was the live mariachi band playing.. They were AMAZING!

Oh and here is the beautiful tulip that is blooming in our kitchen! 

I really want SPRING!!!

Hoping for a SUNNY Weekend

I am counting down the minutes until I leave work for the weekend.  I am very excited!!  We have dinner plans with Sigrid and Greg tonight to Kick start things. She said she would be serving Asian Infusion. 

Saturday morning I will be waking earlier than I would like to so I can fit the flower girl dress I am making for my Friend Kelly. I am excited to see how it fits her and to start making the real thing. Promise to post some cute pictures.

Rick is bottleing his first batch of homemade beer. He is VERY excited.  I am going to give him the house and do brunch with Nicole and then purchase fabric for the flower girl dress. Busy weekend. Maybe I will have time to clean my kitchen floors later on Saturday.

I am leaving work for the night and I still have A LOT to do tomorrow...

For tonight my plan is NO TV!!  I need to work on a sewing project I have been putting off. Remember the flower girl dress I am making.  Well I need to get going on the muslin..

I am totally hooked on The Bachelor this season. 

I can barely wait for the finale tonight. 

I want to make sure every one knows that I think Tenley Should win!

I just think they are a good fit and have a lot more in common.

Also I have been speculating over who will be the next Bachelorette...
